South Jersey Deserves Leaders Who
Show Up & Deliver
We’re running for re-election because South Jersey is worth fighting for — every small business, every working family, every community that makes our region strong.
We believe in a government that works for you, not the other way around. That means being present in our districts, answering your calls, holding office hours, and cutting through bureaucracy to get real results.
Your Questions, Our Priorities
-
We are fighting for those who’ve served by introducing legislation that removes outdated barriers and opens new opportunities.
We introduced A2392 to remove the requirement that NJ National Guard members serve in federal active duty to qualify for the state’s veterans’ tax deduction.
We are advancing A2395 to allow school boards to hire veterans as athletic coaches without unnecessary certification hurdles, and A2397 to guarantee in-state tuition for veterans and their families during remote learning emergencies.
Through A2398, we’re working to provide a state tax credit for disabled veteran tenants, and with A2410, we’re creating a hiring preference for veterans applying for teaching jobs.
We’re also honoring service members with A2402 for U.S. Coast Guard license plates, and strengthening safety through A5679, which allows active duty military members to carry firearms at all times.
-
We are introducing measures to keep students safe, informed, and prepared for the future.
Through A2394, we require schools to teach about the risks of marijuana use.
We are advancing A2396 to create a statewide career and education guide for postsecondary students with disabilities, and A2408 to ensure seizure action plans and emergency medication access in schools.
We are growing opportunities through A2409 to fund YouthBuild job training programs, and A2411 to provide a $500 tax credit for families using high-impact tutoring.
We are also expanding extracurricular access with A5367, which allows nonpublic school students to participate in public school sports under certain conditions. -
We are acting to strengthen accountability and public safety.
Through A4139, we require individuals convicted of sex offenses in other countries to register under Megan’s Law and ensure law enforcement alerts federal immigration authorities.
We are moving forward with A2403 to require EMS providers to report overdose incidents to the Department of Law & Public Safety.
And with A2400, we’re making sure unemployment offices reopen and stay open during public health emergencies so residents can access services without delay. -
We are committed to protecting our coastal resources and the jobs they support.
Through A2401, we appropriate $25 million to remove abandoned vessels from waterways.
We are supporting local fisheries with A2404, which allows the use of fish pumps under certain conditions.
And with A5945, we’re setting acreage limits for shellfish leases to ensure sustainable use of our marine resources.
We oppose offshore wind projects off New Jersey’s coastline because they threaten our marine life, our coastal economy, and the beauty of our shore — all without delivering the promised energy benefits to South Jersey families. -
We strongly oppose the utility rate hikes that are crushing South Jersey families, seniors, and small businesses. Governor Murphy’s rushed green energy plan — including failed offshore wind projects — has driven up costs without delivering the promised benefits. These mandates force utilities to pass massive project expenses onto you, even when the projects never get off the ground.
We’re fighting to stop rubber-stamped increases, demand full transparency on how your money is spent, and require proof that any project will actually lower costs or improve service before it’s approved. South Jersey shouldn’t have to pay for Trenton’s bad bets on energy policy. -
We’re fighting to create good-paying, long-term careers by strengthening South Jersey’s manufacturing sector. Through Next New Jersey Manufacturing Program Act (S4407/A5687), sponsored by Assemblyman McClellan and Senator Testa, we are expanding opportunities for manufacturers to grow and hire right here in New Jersey.
This program supports workforce training, modernizes regulations, and encourages investment in local production, so more South Jersey residents can find stable careers close to home. Strong manufacturing means a stronger economy, and we’re making sure our region isn’t left behind.
